KitchenDraw is one of these design programs. I've used it for almost 6 years now and haven't looked back. What makes using the software so easy is the fast that you just have to drag and drop the kitchen units into the floor plan to draw the layout of your kitchen and once you're done you just push a button to do the photo realistic rendering. The photo realistic feature blows me away every time. The picture is so reals it looks like a photo of a real kitchen. If a program doesn't give you great photo realistic rendering don't even think of buy it.

There are numerous styles of handles but it's up to you and your personality to see which ones you want to get: wood cupboard handles metal even glass cupboard handles in every shape and size that you can imagine. The most important thing you need to take into account is whether the structure of the furniture is in good enough condition so that you can give them new handles. For couches and chairs make sure that frames are strong and that springs are intact (if applicable to the situation). To repair the foundation of furniture is a much more expensive process.
