Recruiting now for the next candidates of the Integrated Leadership Course

Our vision:

To work together to deliver
demonstrable benefits to the health,
well-being and social care of our
local population, through innovation,
education and research.

The ARHP partners are now recruiting to Cohort 7 of the Integrated Leadership Course. Site leaders in the partner organisations are looking for 30 participants to commit to the course and who have ambitions to become senior leaders.

A recently graduated participant of the course encouraged people to participate saying: “This course focuses on you as a leader in a work place, I have learnt a lot about myself as a person, a nurse, a wife and a mother thanks to this course.”

The programme is targeted at individuals who are at, or are approaching “team leader” level in their organisation.  It is expected that they will be “self-starters” and highly motivated to undertake significant amounts of study and reflection in their own time, as well as the shadowing and rotation opportunities during the working day.

By the end of the programme, participants have gained the confidence,  necessary skill and procedural understanding to produce a business case which explains the problem their innovation will address, identifies the different options considered, whilst demonstrating that their proposed innovation is the course of action which addresses the need best.

The participant’s organisation will benefit from this increased knowledge and confidence, as well as the innovation proposal, produced in their own business case template, identifying  costs, timings  and all other resource requirements and demonstrating how the project will enhance the organisation’s effectiveness.  Many of our participants have gone on to new roles while on the course, or shortly after, and have said how the course has helped them develop their career.
